What areas would be best for me to move to to have decent walkable nightlife and good access to commute westward toward Stillwater?
And what are good sites or agencies to go through to find housing in those areas?
I'll be living in either Stillwater (to be near work) or most likely Tulsa.
I already know from reading previous threads that Tulsa is great for young families, but what's the dating scene like for young professionals?
Good news is Tulsa has a reputation for being more socially progressive than OKC so maybe the situation is different there.
I've heard the go-to districts in Tulsa are the Blue Dome and the Brady districts.
Commuting back and forth from Tulsa to Stillwater is for the birds, considering how far it is, the 2 hours it takes a round trip, the high price of gas, and the scary, dangerous weather that sometimes happens on the way.
Having a social life only on the weekends doesn't work for me, at my age.
I'd love to relax and have a quieter lifestyle when I've got a family and am settled down, but to make that happen I need to get out and meet lots of people in my age range and with similar interests.
She was glad to finally find a similar job in Stillwater.
Oh, yeah, then there is the danger of hitting a deer. Do you know of any leasing agents or apartment complexes that I can contact who work in that area?
